The first few of these posts originally appeared on Facebook. The Facebook blogging software did not offer much versatility, so I moved the articles here.
This blog's name (Neosimian Sapiens) is derived from our Linnaean species name (Homo Sapiens). I consider the term Neosimian more informative than Homo. I am not sure if we deserve the label Sapiens, but I'm giving us the benefit of the doubt. If ultimately I'm wrong, there might not be anybody around to complain.
